The transformation you will experience 

The beauty of this role lies in the opportunity to truly own your work and make your mark on one of Starcom’s largest clients – a market leader in the automotive category with a strong appetite for innovative executions and impactful media. As the Account Manager, you’ll get to spearhead dynamic campaigns with impressive content partnerships across all key channels in offline, digital and performance. You will create media plans and recommendations with a full-funnel and integrated approach, along with the ability to mobilise and lean in to craft teams to deliver best-in-class work across implementation and reporting.

You’ll have the platform to foster and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, acting as their trusted partner and key point of contact. Within the agency, you are the lynchpin of cross functional teams and will be expected to drive a culture of connection and collaboration. Working alongside the Business Director, you will also have the opportunity to build on your people management skills and support the development of an Account Executive and Coordinator.

 

Your day to day will look like:

Efficiently handle the daily requirements of client stakeholdersPrepare implementation planning responses, ensuring the plans reflect the client’s business needs and media environment which maximise return on investmentEngage in media planning activities across all channels, contributing to comprehensive and effective strategiesCollaborate closely with the Investment, Digital and Performance leads to ensure smooth workflow coordination within the teamOversee the financial management including invoicing and payments process in line with contractual terms agreedGuide client WIP sessions and meetings, demonstrating leadership in communication and project managementPromote the agency’s specialist services and research initiativesEnsure that clients are informed on general media industry topics which may affect their businessAnticipate client needs, building long term relationships – proactively drive the relationship with clients

What type of person will be successful in this role

Minimum 3 years’ experience in media, advertising or marketing across various categoriesStrong skills in client service, stakeholder management, project management and omni-channel media planningA solid understanding of offline, online, and emerging channelsExpertise across industry planning tools to deliver optimum plans for client KPIs/targetAble to work collaboratively with cross functional teams (Strategy, Investment, Digital, Performance)Strong understanding of the financial processConfident communication and presentation skillsAble to upskill and mentor junior members of the teamAble to multi-task and manage multiple and shifting prioritiesPossess a curious nature with a willingness for continuous learning and fearless growth
