We are looking for an energetic and persistent Account Manager, for our automotive segment, who is passionate about developing customer relationships, understands the value of first-class service and has an interest in technical products.

 

The job

As Account Manager at Univar Solutions, within the company's Automotive segment, you will have the whole of Norway as a workplace, but the primary focus area will be the western and southern part of Norway.

In this job, you get a unique opportunity to bring your skills within relationship building, strategy, sales and execution into play, and thereby help the company to drive and accelerate our sales efforts and thereby strengthen our market position - both with existing and potential customers.

You will primarily service and visit car workshops, car spare parts dealers, car dealerships etc. and advise them on the choice of lubricants.

The products that you will offer our customers are Premium products of Shell lubricants. Shell is the world's largest brand within lubricants, and Univar has the exclusive right to distribute their products.

 

 

Your most important tasks will, among other things, include:

Building and maintaining sales pipeline Planning, booking and holding customer meetings Contact with relevant colleagues in relation to solving the customers' needs. This can e.g. be in relation to customers who need training regarding Univar's products.

Univar will provide a thorough preboarding and onboarding process, and we will provide you with all the necessary information, training and knowledge about the company's products so that you are fully equipped to perform in the job.

 

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role comes with 1-5 years of experience from a relevant sales position, where you have worked with value-based sales and building customer relationships. If you have experience selling lubricants or have a background in the automotive industry, it will of course be a great advantage - but this is not a requirement.

You are used to advising customers, booking and holding customer meetings and are fluent in both Norwegian and English (English is  our official company  language), and have a valid driving license. It will be an advantage if you are able to speak Swedish as well.

 

 

Personal characteristics

Above all, for you to thirve in our work environment you have an open and collaborative personality. We are looking for a profile that is inquisitive and that wants to move forward and is therefore both persistent, has great drive and commitment and has a "can do attitude".

In addition, we are looking for a candidate who is quick to acquire and implement new knowledge, and who wants to improve his skills within the company's product portfolio and eventually become an expert.

It is also important that you are results-oriented, goal-oriented, structured and have a winning mentality that enables you to win new business and deliver good results.

Finally, you are a strong communicator who can make a difference at all levels of an organization and who understands the art of listening and creating long-term customer relationships.

 

We work in a Nordic organization, it means that you will find your colleagues in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. And you will report to our Sales Manager Thomas Lausen who is placed in Copenhagen.

Practical information

Working hours: Full time

Place of work:  Oslo, We expect that you primarily will be working from home as most of your time will be spent on the road and out with customers. We do have an office in Oslo where you have the opportunity to meet and network with your colleagues.

Joining: Joining will be as soon as possible, but we are of course waiting for the right candidate.

Salary and pension: Salary is agreed individually according to experience and skills. There will also be a compay car in the job.
