Job Description:
As our Account Manager, you will be responsible every day for meeting and exceeding assigned sales goals and objectives through customer retention for perpetual and subscription customers, adding on sales, upgrading existing accounts, or migrating to additional Sage products or services. To thrive in this role, you must use a consultative, value-based selling approach and a customer success mindset to drive add-ons, upgrades, cross-selling, and connected services, ultimately delivering a seamless customer experience.
***This is a hybrid office environment that requires you in the Beaverton office 3 days a week.***
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with existing Sage customers who have expiring perpetual or subscription plans to secure their renewals. Resolve open issues and escalate customer satisfaction issues to the appropriate internal or external resources, where applicable
• Proactively pursue all installed base leads, which include direct mail, emails, user groups, inbound calls, welcome calls, trade shows, and sales campaigns.
• Convert raw leads to qualified opportunities using a consultative, value-based selling approach. Align qualified opportunities with the associated channel partner or manage the sales process directly when applicable.
• Work with assigned channel partners to build and sustain the installed base and drive cloud or native cloud subscription revenue through cross-sell and upsell activities.
• Meet or exceed 100% of the assigned individual revenue targets.
Qualifications:
• 1+ years of business-to-business consultative sales experience, achieving/overachieving an individual sales quota or equivalent experience is required.
• Must have excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize.
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team while balancing individual goals against corporate strategy.
• The ability to sell directly, managing an end-to-end sales process, is required.
• A proven track record of developing and executing sales strategy is preferred.
