Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Account Manager – End User develops and implements sales strategies and plans to acquire new business for assigned solutions and services to exceed annual sales goals and grow market share. You will report to Sales Manager, End User.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
You will establish and maintain relationships at assigned accounts and engaging with distributors to ensure efficient use of resources.Lead the account strategy within the assigned accounts and communicate with the Industry Vertical Teams on an account by account basis.Establish, executive level relationships with the customer base and understands customer processes and business model.Coordinate and communicate with the solutions and channel component sales management and the distributor organizations.Maintain accurate assessment of target and opportunity funnel within the Customer Relationship Management system.Provide application knowledge and industry expertise and manage sales activities according to Rockwell Automation's Customer-centric Selling process.Qualify customer opportunities and qualify and coordinate the solution design.Bring the right resources to the table to improve the customer's decision process and present solutions to the customer (value proposition).Teams with corporate Contracts and Negotiations group to come to terms with customers.Negotiate contract terms and conditions (T&Cs), pricing, discounts and allowances.Engage the Rockwell Automation account team and the senior Management,, to plan for and win opportunities.Organize a technical engagement team for identified opportunities and integrate competitive data and strategy into proposals.Obtain agreements and prices to support the proposal effort.Support customer/internal program reviews and also the development of district level Market Focus Plan.Set and help manage internal/external partner expectations.Ensure through familiarity with company procedures. Apply procedures in compliance with government laws.Procedures include: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental).Education and Experience requirements
Degree in Business, Engineering or a related discipline.Experience in an industrial production environment, involved in the delivery of solution-based outcomes3 or more years of experience and market knowledgeAutomation & Software experience in one of these systems: Intelligent Devices, VFDs, MCCs, Controllers and Networks, PTC, ThingWorx, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Analytics, Advanced AnalyticsIntermediate English Level.#LI-EV1
