What we need:

Mohawk is looking for an Account Executive who can do more with Mohawk. The ideal candidate will be a business-minded, organized, high-energy, proven winner, and self-starter, who thrives in fast-paced and complex selling environments with multiple stakeholders across segments and channels.

An Account Executive is an established performer that works to facilitate and support sales functions and projects by utilizing product knowledge, increasing sales, and serving existing customers. This role will partner with sales management to enhance sales, product mix and overall profitability.

This position will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales quotas by taking market share from our competitors across End-User, A&D, and Dealer channels, at both existing and new business development accounts. The primary focus for this role will be expanding our Core Commercial business in the greater St. Louis market. 

 

What you’ll do:

· Prospects, secures, registers, and services new and existing customers.

· Enters all call reports in CRM system and maintains call cadence.

· Present product knowledge seminars to customers and keeps customers up to date on products and promotions.

· Reviews, monitors, and tracks product usage by Dealer and provide follow-up data to sales leadership.

· Maintains samples and merchandise.

· Collaborate with clients to understand their evolving needs and business objectives.

· Proactively engage with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or challenges.

· Conduct regular check-ins and follow-ups to assess client needs.

· Perform other duties as needed.

 

What you have:

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

· 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

What you’re good at:

· Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.

· Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

· Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

· High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.

· Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.

 

What else?

Expect to travel for trade shows, customer visitation, etc.
