Account Executive
The Sales Account Executive is a key contributor to station revenue, responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. This role focuses on cold-calling, building client relationships, and showcasing the value of television and digital advertising. Essential Duties & Responsibilities + New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold-calling and outreach efforts. + Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed sales goals on both television and digital channels. + Client Relationships: Build strong and credible relationships within the local business community. + Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling, customized sales presentations to prospective clients. + Advertising Strategy: Educate clients on the benefits of television and digital advertising, crafting tailored solutions to meet their business goals. + Scheduling & Placement: Collaborate with clients and station teams to ensure advertising schedules are seamlessly executed. + Creative Collaboration: Partner with clients and internal teams to create impactful advertisements that deliver measurable results. + Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the success of the sales team. Requirements & Skills + Proven track record of achieving goals in a commission-driven role. + Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. + Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. + Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
