The Account Executive has primary responsibility for managing and delivering on our performance commitment for our customers. They are responsible for building and maintaining relationships at the ownership and senior officer level of our clients as well as with the senior leadership and underwriting teams of our various carrier partners. They are also responsible for working with Risk Consultants to identify viable surety opportunities and develop new business marketing strategies.
• Meets with new and existing clients to develop and review information concerning client operations
• Consults with clients concerning operational issues impacting surety credit; offer surety-oriented risk management recommendations/solutions to improve client risk profile
• Develops strategies with customer’s input to address surety-related issues/concerns to maximize the available bond program
• Analyzes and presents underwriting information to the surety company with specific recommendations for surety support
• Conducts ongoing management and maintenance of client surety programs through regular meetings with client ownership/senior management and the surety underwriting team
• Performs financial reviews and provides analytical presentations of the information to the applicable underwriting team
• Actively participates in construction and surety related associations; maintains regular interaction with surety company personnel
• Hosts and participates in social interactions with clients and surety personnel outside of normal business hours to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
• Supervises and coordinates Account Manager performance as it relates to account specific activities
Requirements
