Your New Role...

Join our digital sales organization – the team that creatively develops cross-platform, client centric solutions across Warner Bros. Discovery’s portfolio of premium Entertainment, News, and Streaming offerings. The digital Account Executive plays a critical role within WBD’s sales team. He/she will be responsible for selling all digital assets, including Max, discovery +, CNN Digital, TVE, VOD, Branded Content, Programmatic, Lifestyle websites (HGTV, Food Network, Discovery, etc.) and across WBD’s social platforms. We are looking for a consultative seller who is excited to take part in expanding our business relationships with agency partners, direct clients, and the broader advertising community.   

Your Role Accountabilities...

Drive revenue while meeting/exceeding budget goals

Build and manage deep relationships with ad agencies, direct clients, and the entire media planning/buying chain

Manage book of business with a focus on driving new and incremental digital ad revenue

Coordinate with various support groups to run point on building account specific strategies and creating consultative sales presentations that represent our best-in-class products and solutions

Partner alongside Warner Bros. Discovery convergent counterparts to sell cross platform/360 initiatives

Provide thought leadership with an emphasis on both actionable and future-state offerings within the digital space

Fluent in data-driven advertising technology, advanced and addressable television coupled with a solid understanding of advertising research, attribution, and effectiveness

Manage the sales process from proposal through post-analysis and renewal/upsell

Work effectively with team members throughout the network portfolio; leverage relationships across the company to align client needs’ with WBD’s offering

Provide a feedback loop to improve our products and solutions

Manage multiple demands and competing priorities simultaneously in a highly matrixed and complex environment

Qualifications & Experiences...

At least 5 years’ media selling experience required

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or similar

A demonstrated track record of negotiating, structuring, and closing complex media deals and partnerships, including robust digital components

Strong proficiency in consultative sales principles and concepts – an individual who can take a concept to reality

A passionate, entrepreneurial minded thinker who is results oriented and able to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment

Deep understanding of the digital landscape including Streaming video platforms, OTT, Branded Content, Social, Programmatic, Mobile, Data, and Advanced Advertising Solutions

Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with fluency in Salesforce, MSFT, Salesforce CRM, and Google office suites

Must have the legal right to work in the US
