Account Director
Description Robert Half has partnered with a digital agency in Birmingham, MI looking for an Account Director in the events and experiential industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead our team and manage relationships with high-profile clients in the automotive sector. The Account Director will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of our client accounts, managing long-term client relationships, contributing to business growth, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding value and results. This is a long term role at 40 hours per week. Responsibilities: • Lead strategic direction for client accounts, making sure all campaigns align with client business objectives. • Act as a primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders and conduct client meetings and presentations. • Oversee budgeting and financial performance of client accounts, and manage client billing, invoicing, and account profitability. • Work closely with creative, production, and strategy teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and support new client acquisition efforts. • Provide expert counsel on industry trends, challenges, and opportunities. • Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring clear communication and alignment between account, strategy, creative, and production teams. • Lead and mentor account managers and other team members. • Manage logistics and planning for auto shows, press events, new vehicle launches, product reveals, and ride and drive events. • Facilitate cross-communication between departments, managing client projects and deliverables. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role as an Account Director, Account Executive, or Account Manager within a digital agency. • Proven expertise in CRM systems • Demonstrated ability in providing strategic direction and account management • Experience in annual planning and budget processes • Knowledge of the automotive industry is a significant advantage • Excellent client relations and communication skills. Ability to work onsite in Birmingham office 3-4 days per week.
