Account Director - 1 year FTC

A Hybrid working model

Now offices are fully open we have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations, something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility to their working week. The expectation is that working life at Hogarth will involve working from the office for about 50% of the time for most people. What does a Cross Function Account Director do at Hogarth? 

This is a 1 year FTC role starting ASAP. The Account Director (AD) will support the Senior Account Director on a prestigious technology client. They play an active role in running the team operations and support the team in the execution of world-class marketing communications across various client areas. As the client’s central point-of-contact, the AD holds overall responsibility for the relationship while ensuring Hogarth teams are engaged and motivated to perform. The role is very operational and will also require someone who has demonstrable experience working under pressure. Hands-on and possessing strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail are critical factors for success in the role.

Reporting lines and key stakeholders: 

This role reports to the Senior Account Director and involves managing a small team, working closely with various business units across the Account. 

Responsibilities:

Client management Possesses a strong understanding of and consistently delivers against all contractual obligations, commercial arrangements, KPIs, and SLAs with the Client Operational planning and reviews Lead by example, embracing the Hogarth values through interactions with the immediate team, broader teams, and management Be the conduit between the client and the wider business, representing the company and ensuring alignment at all times Conflict resolution Resource Management Works with senior management to ensure teams are engaged and motivated to perform Maintain expert-level familiarity with client content. Manage the team's scope of production and communicate scope and timing fluctuations to all stakeholders. Ability to make sound decisions, think strategically, focus on detail, problem-solve, and multitask. Eye for continuous improvement and increased efficiency. Flexibility in working hours is key to this role. Proven ability to build relations and work effectively with many stakeholders. Lead by example and maintain a positive team culture. Ability to work with global teams and adapt to cultural differences. Owns the Team's financial reporting/budget and relationship with Finance Manages the resourcing needs across the team both perm and freelance Be the clients “go-to” in a crisis

Requirements:

Significant client services experience with a solid account management background Managed teams delivering large multifaceted motion projects Experience in budgeting and forecasting Focus on continuous improvements, delivering excellent quality, and high levels of customer service Agency experience managing international clients in multiple markets with multiple stakeholders Experience of running an account team including resource planning Experience in the language industry desired Prior people management experience Negotiation skills Problem solver Good networking skills High level of organisation and attention to detail Self-starter and self-motivated Strong English speaking and writing skills are essential Knowledge of another language is a plus but not mandatory Solid localisation experience working with linguists and brand manager
