Job Overview:

The receptionist greets each patient and family members upon arrival at the Center. Registers the patient, issues the registration face sheet, history form and patient bill of rights. Make corrections to patient data (procedure, insurance or referring physician). Alerts the staff that patient has arrived. Assumes responsibility for all activities pertaining to the reception area. Is responsible for answering phones, taking messages and directing phone inquiries to the proper person/place. Performs clerical duties without requiring constant supervision. Exercises good judgment in dealing with patients.

Qualifications:

Required:

Understands insurance authorization processHigh School Diploma or EquivalentFive (5) Weeks of TrainingRegistration/Billing ExperienceCompletion of all orientation programs

Preferred:

Experience in rehabilitationBachelor s Degree or Associates DegreeEpic Experience

Scheduling Requirements:

Shift Working: Monday-Thursday: 11:00AM-7:00PMFriday: 9:00AM-5:00PMSome Saturdays Required: 8:00AM-12:00PMDay ShiftFull Time
