Our Strategic Program Management Office Sourcing practice will provide you with the opportunity to help organisations balance long term strategies and short term imperatives to optimise their investments and strategic activity required to achieve the organisation’s business objectives. We help enhance organisations project and program performance by identifying alternative project approaches, consistently aligning projects with corporate strategy, setting the tone and pace of programmes from the outset, responding quickly and effectively to crisis situations and extracting value from agile program delivery. As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Demonstrate ability to support program and/or project management skills, such as planning, schedule, risk, deliverables, and quality management and/or change control.

Demonstrate ability to support all phases of project delivery (mobilization, design, build, and transition/close).

Demonstrate ability to maintain project schedules/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)

Demonstrate ability to support work breakdown structure (WBS) development, planning workshops, requirements development and traceability, and linking corporate strategy to project execution.

Demonstrate ability to support the identification, management, resolution, and mitigation of key risks and issues impacting project delivery, as well as demonstrate the ability to develop mitigation plans, conduct risk analyses, and manage the Risk and Issues Log.

Demonstrates expert knowledge of the Statement of Work (SOW) and Change Order (as appropriate) to determine whether the work performed is in scope and at the agreed-upon level.

Demonstrates the ability to support the identification, management, resolution, and mitigation of key risks and issues impacting the project delivery, as well as development of mitigation plans, risk analyses, and Risk and Issue Logs. 

Demonstrates the ability to develop and execute change management plans, managing artifacts for Change Control Boards, and facilitating change control processes. 

Demonstrates the ability to utilize defined quality standards to facilitate quality reviews and quality assurance.

Demonstrates thorough knowledge in industry-standard project management methodologies and tools.

Demonstrates the ability to develop project plans to deliver on project requirements. 

Demonstrates the ability to possess techniques to identify risks and dependencies as well as project management techniques to oversee, proactively lead and/or support workstreams.

Demonstrates the ability to facilitate meeting and management capabilities. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Degree Preferred: Master Degree 

Preferred Fields of Study: Computer and Information Science, Management Information Systems, Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering 

Preferred Experience: Prior Big 4 or like consulting experience; Healthcare or Pharmaceutical Sectors 

 

Certification(s) Required: CSM or SAFe Scrum Master 

Certification(s) Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP), ACP,  

 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills: 

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in planning and execution management, for a Big 4 or like consulting organization, specifically for large global clients, including the following areas: 

Planning and Execution Management 

Leading a team to consistently deliver high-quality results 

Establishing project governance 

Helping build engagement teams  

Utilizing an accurate view of project schedules to drive execution and plan effectively 

Identifying the anticipated impact to project delivery through an effective risk management process 

Establishing proper change management guardrails 

Utilizing the knowledge of Statement of Work (SOW) and Change Order constructs to establish work performed is in scope and at the agreed upon level 

Defining and delivering the end to end support model with all key stakeholders across multiple delivery organizations 

Financial & Value Management 

Establishing standardized processes for the continuous generation and intake of project and product ideas 

Implementing an approach to capturing and accurately forecasting project actuals and budgets 

Developing a uniform project estimation process to facilitate effective prioritization and informed decision-making 

Asset Management 

Possessing a clear end-to-end understanding of the procurement process 

Optimizing resource allocation and utilization to ensure efficient delivery 

Establishing effective processes for vendor management, as needed, and ensuring effective procurement and contract management 

Providing fully documented services which are updated and maintained throughout the life of the service and are aligned to project management industry leading practices 

Establishing that appropriate lifecycle resourcing, training, tooling, support and documentation is delivered with a formal project sign-off from all key stakeholders 

Communication & Knowledge 

Driving stakeholder engagement and expectations optimized for project outcomes  

Preparing and delivering regular status reports to stakeholders, providing updates on delivery 

Establishing measurement and performance metrics such as KPIs and OKRs 

Creating rapidly repeatable delivery and reporting standards 

Ensuring active sponsorship and business readiness to effectively drive projects forward 

Developing multi-level relationships with client and team members to establish project delivery goals are met as planned
