Title:                           Academic Assistant – Part-time

Department:              Athletics Academic Services

Reports to:                 Director of Academic Services

Brief Description:

Assist with retention and progress towards graduation primarily working with student-athletes that have demonstrated academic need.

List of Duties:

Study hall monitoring responsibilities.

Assist the Learning Specialist with the Freshman Academic Success Training (F.A.S.T.) Program.

Serve as a mentor to selected student –athletes, meeting with them weekly and distributing reports to the Director and staff.

Assist with class attendance monitoring

Assist with recruiting visits.

Meet with coaches as needed.

Other duties as assigned.
