Process Gas Analytical Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

ABB's dynamic Discovery 18-month rotational program provides participants with the chance to explore three distinct roles, helping to shape long-term career interests. You will gain hands-on experience and exposure to various facets of our operations. Throughout the program, you will receive dedicated coaching and development to enhance your skills and knowledge. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be placed in a permanent role as a Technical Support Specialist, where you will continue to grow and make a significant impact within our team.The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics business division in either Melbourne or Sydney, Australia. Main stakeholders are internal sales and service teams and external clients. You will be mainly accountable for:•Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines.•Utilizing understanding of customers' needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers, ensuring successful project outcomes aligned with customer requirements.•Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.•Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject Chemical/Process, Environmental, Mechatronics, or Electrical engineering.Strong Communication skillset, fluent in English, capable in using micro-software suite, Knowledge of Analytical Products would be ideal/preferred, but not mandatory.Strong willingness to understanding process control for applying measurements to optimize on-line manufacturing processes in Australia. Willingness to learn Analytical technologies (e.g. FT-IR, GC, Continuous Gas analyzers, including for Continuous Water Quality , pH Conductivity, Turbidity, along with ION selective measurements etc.
