Job Description:

A vacancy for maintenance engineering for A400M MRO Services has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Sevilla. This is to support Manufacturing Engineering and Production Control activities located at Customer premises.

The successful applicant will join Services Area .

Tasks & accountabilities:

- Support maintenance planning event and scope of work analysis,

- Support work orders preparation,

- Anticipate material, means & tooling needs before each event.

- Launch material requests for Maintenance events located at Sevilla.

- Follow up and drumbeat material availability.

- Anticipate and resolve any Custom clearance issues.

- Ensure the right visibility of current and future events is provided to internal and external users.

- Daily planning update with all information needed per event.

- Stablish and secure internal means and AGEs, including tooling calibration, shipments control, etc.

- Prepare and manage minimum stock of items.

- Control Consumables life limit.

- KPIs control and reporting.

Main activities:

- Master planning and daily meetings. Monitoring of the preparation status for each event in regard to WO, material and AGEs availability.

- Ensure the right back up is provided through external support when needed (holidays, workload peaks, etc).

- Means and tooling clear inventory and availability per event.

- Contribute to right management of means and material for Maintenance events (including possible Schedule events -C checks-, Retrofits, etc).

- Clear Requested Delivery Date (RDD) and Expected Delivery Date (EDD) per event.

Required skills:

- University degree in Engineering.

- Experience in Aircraft Maintenance.

- Knowledge of Lean and Process improvement methods.

- Leadership skills.

- Strong communication skills.

- Experience on working in military environment and with direct contact with customer.
