Wynn Las Vegas has an in-house 24/7 full service Entertainment Production Services and Sound & Video Department to accommodate audio-visual and technical requests associated with convention, exhibit, private and catered event functions. Customer support for our clients is the number one factor that determines our department success.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Floor Manager of Entertainment Productions Services, the Convention A/V Technician of Entertainment Productions Services will be required to:
• Complete Audio Video room setups and strikes per detailed flow sheets.
• Assist guests with general A/V tasks (microphones, laptops, projectors, power, etc.)
• Set convention and banquet power requirements.
• Install event lighting for stages, general sessions and or décor.
• Operate basic audio mixers, lighting controllers and Crestron control panels.
• Operate A/V systems for meetings and events.
• Maintain a daily work sheet logging your assigned tasks.
• Enform and update the Floor Manager or Floor Lead of equipment and labor changes relating to events.
• Work with Shop Manager to maintain the organization of the EPS shops.
• Repair and /or diagnoses faulty gear.
• Encourage teamwork and aids in building cross department relationships.
• Work with safety as a priority and follow department and company safety standards.
• Ensure the department delivers a maximum level of customer service and production value.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in large scale convention entertainment or live events setting.
• Required current OSHA 10 General Industry Safety card.
• Rigging knowledge a plus.
• Lighting console operation & programming a plus.
• Digital Audio Console Experian a plus.
