A/V Engineer

Job Description
An employer in San Diego is looking for an A/V Engineer to join the team. This person will be responsible for all audio / visual technology within the client's casino, golf course, and their events center. On the casino floor, they will primarily be responsible for audio engineering. This could include programming audio controllers, scheduling audio, working with the infrastructure team on cabling the audio, or working with vendors to select equipment that will support audio and video. This person will maintain the casino wide audio system as well as the programmable lighting system. In the events center, they will be responsible for both audio and visual engineering. This person will work cross-functionally across the whole organization on any A/V related needs, will work with vendors on product selection, but must be knowledgeable to make product recommendations as well. They will also provide technical support for computer hardware and software by answering incoming A/V help desk phone calls, providing personal service to audio users and troubleshooting audio system failures.

Skills and Requirements
5 years relevant work experience, ideally in a casino or gaming (24/7) environment
Experience working with a large scale audio system deployment
Experience working with event A/V planning and implementation
Digital signage experience - must undertsand how content is deployed across the digital platforms
Experience working with lighting controls in the theater, concert or meeting space
Experience working with NWare Peavey Audio, Crestron, or equivalent audio and visual control systems knowledge Creston Programming experience null
