A/C Technician Senior Lead

Summary

Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on all heating, ventilating, air purifying systems and air conditioning systems.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include

 All duties of an A/C Technician I and II, and the following additional duties.  May lead or direct the work of others.  Will verify work performed by others is done in a proper manner and completed as requested by management.  Will monitor the daily activity reports and work orders for spare parts and equipment required for repairs, and daily preventative maintenance.  Keep accurate and sufficient supply on hand, of maintenance parts.  Will submit part request lists with appropriate documentation to Administrative Assistant for the creation of purchase orders.  Train others in proper procedures of maintaining HVAC equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does have supervisory responsibilities that are to lead and direct a work crew in daily work assignments.

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in repair and preventative maintenance of HVAC.

Education And/Or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Five or more years' experience in HVAC installations or repair, and/or minimum one year with Fantasy Springs Resort Casino as A/C Technician II. Universal Refrigerant Certification required.

The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Employees working the Casino or Bowling Center may be exposed to second-hand smoke and moderate levels of noise.
