Description:The Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) team is seeking a highly motivated individual with an interest in artificial intelligence systems and a keen attention to detail to support the Applied AI organization as well as the LAIC’s broader product portfolio.

The Applied AI organization is composed of small, agile teams that rapidly mature solutions from research prototypes to fielded systems. The selected candidate will play a critical role in integrating and testing artificial intelligence and autonomy systems to ensure they meet both the technical specifications and functional requirements for customer engagements. The role’s key responsibilities include the following:

· Integrating new unmanned platforms into existing, complex systems of systems.

· Preparing hardware and software systems for demonstrations to key stakeholders.

· Implementing integration and test (I&T) procedures for verifying and validating the performance of systems prior to deployment.

· Ensuring proper tracking of team assets before, during, and after field engagements.

· Cataloging and curation of computer vision datasets for analysis, testing, and research initiatives.

· Managing the team’s system integration bench and flight simulation environment.

· Maintaining and upgrading embedded Linux systems and HPC workstations.

· Evaluating opportunities for integration with new, state-of-the-art sensors and platforms.

In this role, candidates will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of hardware and software systems, from early-stage prototypes to mature solutions. They will also collaborate closely with other team members to test and validate these systems at field events.

The selected candidate must have a strong work ethic and exhibit effective time management and interpersonal skills.

The selected candidate will work at the LAIC Headquarters in Shelton, CT.

Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, aerospace or another related discipline.

· Experience working with or managing Linux desktops, servers, and embedded devices.

· Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.

· Experience with embedded hardware solutions such as NVIDIA Jetsons or Raspberry Pis.

· Must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
· Experience with CAD modeling and simulation environments like NVIDIA Omniverse

· Project management and process improvement experience.

· Prior experience with cloud data management tools.

· Prior experience using Ansible for Linux system administration.

· FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
