A BE/B.Tech. or higher degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent. A minimum of 4+ years of experience as an individual contributor in a Networking Product development company-under Network-Security Technologies . Working knowledge of the following features would be desirable - Security Platform features – L2 switching, VLAN, Q-in-Q, COS, DHCP, BFD, LACP, Multicast, VRRP, BIOS, File systems, OS/firmware upgrades, system recovery/snapshots. Strong understanding of routing technologies including OSPF, BGP, GRE Tunnel, SDWAN and L2-L3 VPNs Good understanding of network firewalls (Layer-2 to Layer-7), Internet proxy, DNS, SSL VPN, multi-factor authentication and IPSEC technologies Good knowledge of Networking protocols, TCP/IP, Linux networking stack (ipv4/v6/IPSec etc.). Good and working knowledge of traffic generators like IXIA, SPRIENT is a plus Good knowledge of Router/Network Firewall arch is a plus, Routing and Security certification holder is added advantage. Strong automation skills in Python and/or Perl, Robot framework, Debugging skills.  Strong problem-solving and communication skills required, with ability to work harmoniously in a dynamic group A Good understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, systems, programming practices
