4.3 Primary Objective

We are looking for a Spare Parts Sales Engineer, who will be a key player in our growing team, responsible for achieving sales targets in the India territory across our diverse Engineering Plastics business unit he will also be responsible for such as spares parts for extruder machine packages and Material handling system packages. Also take care yearly rate contracts for spares and service. The Spare Parts Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales of spare parts and components, providing technical support to customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and excellent communication skills to effectively meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

Sales Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the spare parts market.Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.Actively visit customers where required

Technical Support:

Provide technical assistance and product knowledge to customers regarding spare parts and components.Assist customers in selecting the appropriate spare parts based on their specific requirements.

Quoting and Order Management:

Prepare and present quotations for spare parts, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery.Process customer orders and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely fulfillment.

Customer Relationship Management:

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups in the CRM system.Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to spare parts and orders.Coordinate customer communication and visit customer where necessary

Collaboration:

Work closely with the engineering and production teams to understand product specifications and availability.Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns for spare parts.

Reporting:

Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and market trends.Provide feedback to management on customer needs and product performance.
