3rd Shift Maintenance Equipment Assembler

The Maintenance Equipment Assembler performs general equipment assembling and light repairs and maintenance to plant equipment, as directed by work orders, inspection list or maintenance supervisor. Here’s more of what you’ll get to do: Assembly equipment according to production demands. Complete tasks indicated on work orders and/or checklists as directed by supervisor. Lubricate equipment and perform machine inspections. Complete reports on work performed. Complete mechanical repairs to plant equipment/machinery. Learn basic electrical work from experienced mechanics and supervisors. Repair conveyor belts. Keeps work area clean and perform cleaning of assigned areas. Provide suggestions to improve process, procedures, and department in support of company goals. Follow all food safety principles and legal requirements. Maintain a positive and constructive work environment within the department as well as with other departments and promotes teamwork. Work in a safe manner, observing all safety requirements. Participate in monthly departmental meetings. Other duties, as assigned. What we require: At least 4+ years combination experience within the following fields: Equipment and utility operations, maintenance repair, preventive maintenance, Electrical repairs Knowledge and experience with any CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form. Ability to work in cold temperature environments as low as -35 degrees. bility to lift approximately 50 lbs.
