3rd SHIFT HOG PROCUREMENT SUPERVISOR HOURS: 3rd Shift or as needed; Saturdays as required
General Description: Supervise all alley buyers and hourly employees on the shift. In charge of all the procurement process in the alleys. In charge of all tattooing, unloading of hogs, humane handling, trucker policies being followed and oversee the entire area. Operating in our computer system called CPS on a daily basis and inputting employee attendance in JTP. Perform Ante-mortem inspection with USDA multiple times throughout the shift. Work with 2 other shifts when issues arise and help coordinate vacation schedules with other supervisors in the department. Attend daily and weekly meetings as needed. Required skills: Full understanding of humane handling procedures. Computer knowledge Be able to communicate verbally and in written form in English. Bi-lingual helpful but not required.
