Hourly Range:  $22.00 - 24.00
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. As the 3rd Shift Custodial Supervisor, you will oversee custodial operations across assigned campus zones during the overnight hours. You’ll lead and support a team of custodial professionals to deliver high-quality service that ensures cleanliness, safety, and satisfaction for students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, train, and evaluate custodial staff and shift leads

Create and manage staffing schedules to meet nightly operational needs

Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness meets university standards

Utilize Smart Inspect data to track performance and support client reporting

Manage cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed

Coordinate responses to maintenance and service requests from university departments

Ensure safety protocols and OSHA compliance are followed

Collaborate with other departments such as Maintenance and Groundskeeping

Lead onboarding and ongoing training initiatives for custodial staff

What We’re Looking For:

Education:

Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s in Facilities Management or related field preferred

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in a custodial supervisory role

Experience in higher education or large institutional settings preferred

Skills:

Strong leadership and communication skills

Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and industry best practices

Proficient with Microsoft Office and facility management software

Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus

Working Conditions:

Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
