Your key responsibilities include: Supervising, training, and evaluating custodial teams, including supervisors and line managers Creating and managing work schedules and staffing plans Conducting regular inspections to uphold cleanliness and performance standards Utilizing Smart Inspect data to drive improvements and meet KPIs Managing inventory and procurement of supplies and equipment Ensuring compliance with OSHA and university safety standards Supporting special events, weather-related responses, and emergency needs Developing custodial policies and procedures in collaboration with other departments Upholding budgets and contributing to staff forecasting Promoting a team-first culture through leadership and ongoing training **What You’ll Bring:** **Education** : Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s in Facilities Management or related field preferred **Experience** : 3–5 years in custodial/facilities operations, including 2+ years in a supervisory role; higher ed or large institution experience a plus **Skills** : Strong leadership and communication abilities Familiarity with cleaning methods and custodial equipment Ability to foster a respectful, team-oriented environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management systems Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills a plus Physical Requirements: Comfortable walking and standing for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks REQNUMBER: 116756
