Our client is searching for a Key Holder for their Somerset West retail outlet
Key performance areas
Provides great customer service
Maintains good customer service skills and develops name to name relations with customers
Promotes sales and assists the store in achieving sales targets to qualify for incentive payments and promotes turnover
Maintains excellent merchandising standards
Ensures that the store is merchandised as per store managers instructions and head office directives at all times
Conducts general store housekeeping to ensure that all areas are kept neat and tidy and that all fixtures are in good working order
Notifies store management when specific items are sold out clearing fast or not moving
Contributes to good store security and stock control
Remains alert at all times to ensure the security of the store staff and merchandise
Adheres to company expectations
Ensures that company policies and rules are followed at all times
Requirements and key skills for the role
Grade 12 qualification
At least 3 to 5 years retail experience and/ or 2 to 3 years experience in a Key Holder or Supervisor position
Computer literate
Good communication skills
Strong customer service orientation
High energy levels
Alarm to be activated when the store closes & deactivated when the store is opened
Keys are to be kept on the key holder at all times
Shop doors are to be opened on time and closed at the correct Trading times
Safe must be locked at all times
Cash up and dayend run to be run correctly Cash to be kept in safe
Start of day to be run every day and cash to be banked daily
