3D Digital Engineer
Total Number of Openings 1 About the position: The 3D Digital Engineer forms part of the Designs Engineering Team within the ENGINE supporting our LNG Assets brownfield project design and MOC process. This role is responsible for maintaining and updating 3D models within Operations (AVEVA PDMS and InterGraph SmartPlant 3D). Additionally, this role is a key advocate for the use of 3D models to support Operations activities. This role reports to the CMMS Team Lead. Key Responsibilities: + Responsible for the 3D models in Operations (AVEVA PDMS and InterGraph SmartPlant 3D) + Provide application maintenance and technical support to ensure systems are reliably available + Liaise with Business Unit to establish efficient access to PDMS for MOC and Brownfield Projects + Advocate the use of 3D models to support Operations activities + Prioritize and develop enhancements to increase the efficiency with which 3D models are used in Operations + Investigate and support issue resolution and escalate as required. Provide solutions or workarounds to software problems/ bugs + Liaise with software vendor for required upgrades, customizations & integration + Provide PDMS and S3D subject matter expertise to Major Capital Projects in the ABU + Collaborate with the MCPIM, ABU IM, Engineering Systems Architects and Chevron Subject Matter Expert’s in developing and enhancing IM processes, standards and best practices + Maintain close working relationship with FE, Maintenance and Operations within the Business Unit Required Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline – Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Chemical/Process (B.E./B.Tech.) from a deemed/recognized (AICTE) university or I&E Trade Background + 10+ years PDMS and S3D experience (primarily within the Exploration and Production environment including Major Capital Projects, Operations) Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world. Accordingly, the work hours for employees will be aligned to support business requirements. The standard work week will be Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1:30pm to 10:30pm.
