PURPOSE: To safely optimize and maintain the performance of the injection molding equipment and the product being produced.
Authority: Is hereby given to the employee by the molding manager to carry out the responsibilities and any other duties as directed.

Responsibilities Know and follow all safety rules. Identify and resolve safety issues. Perform pre-shift exercise / stretching activity to be performed before you can enter production area unless written doctor’s release can be provided to Human Resources.Verify daily/weekly PMs.Know and follow the GMP'S, SQF, & HACCP.Run reports and enter information in Web EFF. Assist other employees as needed to optimize the performance of the Molding dept. Accurately document press settings, downtime and process changes with required forms.Trouble shoot & optimize equipment for maximum efficiency.Proactively monitor part quality & take appropriate actions to maintain specified limits.Direct and oversee the Process Technicians on the shiftCheck production schedule and coordinate with Process TechniciansColor changesLabel changesWO changesMold changesNo opFloat across all zones and help provide backupCover breaksCover vacationsCover absencesMonitor downtimeMonitor scrapVerify Last shot was collected on mold changesVerify sample parts collected when blocking partsCollect Downtime sheets from Process Technicians and verify and compile data before passing off to AGL or GLVerify PMs are completed correctly1-2 hours before end of shiftRecord all PMs completed in the logCheck cycle times against standardVerify regrind systems are operationalAssist in troubleshooting process issuesAssist in training of Process Technicians (New and existing)Work with incoming Lead Process Technician on process issues and schedule before ending shiftAttend the end of shift 105 meetings
Rate of Pay: $25.19-$32.00/hr
