Job Details:
This position will be responsible for loading and unloading product onto an overhead conveyor line, loading & unloading parts into fitting racks, manual application of powder paint from time to time, inspecting product for quality, ensuring paint systems are running and clearing faults should they occur, and material handling activities to move parts/racks to and from the paint lines.
2nd Shift 2:30pm - 10:35pm
3rd Shift 10:30pm - 6:35am

Overtime: Employees must be willing to work daily and weekend overtime as business conditions require it. Overtime will be paid for all hours worked in excess of forty hours in any one week.
Responsibilities:
Ensure production is to Victaulic’s established quality standardsAid in the manufacture and shipment of quality products by means of inspecting, transferring, cleaning, removing, sweeping, inside of our facilities as determined by Supervision. Aid and assist in all related activities, to relieve other employees for breaks, injuries, sickness, tardiness, absenteeism, or vacation/personal days.Operate, monitor and inspect tools, dip tanks, paint lines, impregnators, and other related equipment to produce a finished product, to assist or accomplish the set-up and material handling as necessary, to perform minor troubleshooting, to provide efficient productivity; to perform necessary cleaning, to remove garbage and waste materials from the work area as required, to perform any related duties as determined by Supervision.Operate PIV’s (powered industrial vehicles; forklifts and/or walk behind forklift).Pack, inspect, prepare for shipment/transfer all products and/or material as necessary.Follow at all times proper safety procedures and to wear the prescribed safety equipment as they relate to the work being performed.Report accurately work performed, findings or results of inspections, and time and materials used in completion of assigned work.Maintain work area in neat and clean condition and assure that materials and tools are returned to proper storage and all waste and debris are removed upon completion of assigned work.Report immediately to his/her Supervisor any injury, unsafe act or condition, or any failure or impending failure of plant equipment.Perform duties in such a manner as to assure the uninterrupted operation of the facility and the continuation of Victaulic Company as a clean, safe place of employment.Willing to be trained and train others as necessary to meet production needs.Actively participate in SRP, VPDS, and any other Company initiative designed to improve workplace efficiency, eliminate waste, and improve quality.Personal protective equipment must be worn at all times (ex. safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel toe shoes). Safety equipment is provided by the Company with exception of steel toe shoes, which must be provided by employee upon the first day of employment. New hires will be eligible for our safety shoe acquisition program which provides a discount for safety shoe’s purchased through our contracted distributor.Skills:
