Entry Level Machine Operators/ General Labor:  

The Entry Level Machine Operator/General Laborer will assist to create surgical cutting tools that have given us our proud reputation in the industry.  If you are looking for a career change or would like the work you do every day to make a difference in someone’s life, Precision Edge may be just what you are looking for, a quality career!   

Shift:

2nd or 3rd Shift4–10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday (company may move to 5-8-hour shifts in the future)

Some of the duties and responsibilities include: 

Responsible for handling parts to prevent damageAuthorized to stop the process upon the detection of a nonconformance or safety issueResponsible for maintaining a neat and orderly work areaResponsible for maintaining machines and toolingResponsible for producing quality product and meeting production standardsResponsible for completing in-process inspection documentation per established requirementAbility to lift 50 poundsMust be able to distinguish colors and shadesGood math skills (decimals, fractions)Must have correctable vision to 20/20Computer skills (Word, Excel)Must be able to read and interpret customer drawingsMust understand the proper use of, and limitations of, standard inspection measuring and test equipmentAbility to stand for extended periods of time (8-10 hours or more); frequent bending and twisting
