Reporting to the Director People Experience and Recruitment  you will: Talent Planning + Work with the People Team to develop short- and long-term recruitment strategic plan, calendars, marketing and advertising plans, and programs to attract and select a strong, diverse team to Achievement Prep + Maintain familiarity with current and future school staffing plans + Develop and maintain a library of position descriptions, in conjunction with People Team and hiring managers, to ensure consistency of messaging and alignment with organizational need + Create and maintain systems to ensure all applicants, candidates, and staff members receive consistent, professional, and clear communication regarding our recruitment and hiring practices Recruitment + Develop and propose innovative strategies for researching and cultivating pools of diverse talent that result in 95%+ hired by First Day of School  + Facilitate a year-round recruitment campaign + Oversee outreach efforts to inform prospective candidates about opportunities across our schools  + Market Achievement Prep in a realistic, competitive, and professional manner + Track metrics related to cultivation efforts to evaluate various strategies and improve hiring efficiency (i.e. candidates yielded by each source, time to hire, event RSVP information, post-event follow-up, etc.) + Post all open positions to internal applicant tracking system and all third party job posting sites + Monitor position openings and report to People Team, senior leadership, and hiring managers on data collected + Manage all People-related social media and listservs to broaden outreach to prospective candidates and strengthen Achievement Prep’s employment brand online + Attend career fairs targeted at high-profile candidates to build name recognition in the broader education sector (locally and regionally) + Conduct extensive outreach and networking with undergraduate and graduate schools, service organizations, and affinity groups to build Achievement Prep’s visibility with prospective candidates + Generate internal and external referrals through original and innovative referral programs + Coordinate scheduling and other logistics of Achievement Prep-sponsored and external talent-related events + Serve as main point of contact for candidates who come to the campus + Provide school tours to prospective candidates and candidates officially in the selection process + Conduct informational interviews, as needed   Selection + Create a welcoming, comprehensive, and efficient selection experience to ensure that all candidates who engage with Achievement Prep end their process feeling valued and being bigger fans of the organization – regardless of outcome + Schedule and track interviews to align with hiring goals of being 95%+ hired by First Day of School  + Conduct initial review of applications in a timely and rigorous manner + Conduct initial phone screens for instructional and non-instructional roles in a friendly, engaging, and customer-oriented way + Select the highest quality applicants to advance to hiring managers for in-person interviews + Coordinate communication with, preparation of, and scheduling of candidates for in-person interviews + Support candidates in feeling fully prepared for their in-person interviews + Monitor and report on selection timelines across departments and positions + Refine and manage the applicant tracking system, including keeping candidate status continuously updated + Collaborate with hiring managers in efficiently moving candidates through the selection process + Close postings promptly when positions are filled + Communicate promptly with other applicants when positions are filled and help them navigate to alternative roles for consideration + Send decline notification promptly to non-selected applicants and candidates + Perform reference checks, background checks, and employment verification for new and prospective employees   Talent Management + Ensure unwaveringly high levels of customer service with both internal and external audiences by being honest, warm, responsive, and thorough at all times + Assist with preparing documentation for offers to and contracts for new hires and employees + Coordinate the logistics of onboarding efforts for all employees + Update staff tracking mechanisms + Maintain updated organizational charts for all departments + Support efforts to show appreciation to employees – including the ordering and/or distribution of branded materials + Assist with staff transitions, including exits + Provide general support to the Talent Team   “Wind In The Sails” Support for Schools + Be on campus from at least 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM daily + Support all staff and scholars in establishing a positive, structured, and achievement-oriented school culture  + Participate regularly in projects and initiatives that integrate Network Office staff into schools + Support “all-hands-on-deck” times of for schools: beginning of school year, standardized testing, all school assemblies, etc. + Maintain a culture centered on our ethos and core values of D etermination, R espect, E nthusiasm, A ccountability, and M astery + Exhibit an unwavering commitment to high academic achievement and character development in our scholars + Receive continuous feedback from peers and school leaders on your practice and be expected to give the same + Manage time, tasks, deadlines and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment and hold others accountable for the same Be willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary to fulfill Achievement Prep’s mission for our scholars    You Must Have + Bachelor’s degree + 1+ years of recruiting/talent sourcing experience OR 2+ years of classroom teaching experience  (preferably for a charter)   It Would Be Nice for You to Have + 1+ years of classroom teaching experience   Who You
