The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Animal Health Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.
The Cattle Summer Intern will be field based position located in Oklahoma. The job scope and primary focus for this position is to actively support the sales strategy across the region and territories via coordination and execution of sales support activities including:
Support and service Animal Health product portfolioSupport and promote the sales and success of our company's Animal health products and services including Bio-Pharma products, Allflex ID products and livestock monitoring services.Ensure the support of our Veterinarian, dealer, reseller customers and livestock producers in the use of our productsLogistical support for market field trials assisting Sales and Tech ServicesDeveloping and executing plans for engaging customers and meeting customer needsParticipate in field based events (trade show support; customers education regarding the features and benefits of Animal Health products and services).Ensure clear, concise and timely communication and also problem identification with Sales and Tech ServicesAs a Sales Intern in Animal Health, you will be required to rent a car. As part of this position, you will have to be legally authorized to rent a car in the state in which you reside.
Education Minimum Requirement:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in Animal Science, Agribusiness, Veterinary School, or Animal Health related degree programCandidates must have completed at least 2 years of college course work by June 2025Required Experience and Skills:
Candidates must be 20 years of age or older at the start of the internship to meet the necessary criteria to obtain a rental car agreement through our rental car providerValid driver’s license and able to drive a vehicle.Candidates must be available to work full-time for 12 weeks beginning on 19 MAY 25Candidates must have the ability to travel 75%Candidates must have excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills Candidates must have general computer skills including working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to use an iPadCandidates must have the ability to be organized, adapt to a changing environment, work independently and also as part of a teamPreferred Experience and Skills:
Candidates should have basic knowledge of the Animal Health and Animal Feed industries.Candidates should have retail and/or Customer Service experience.Candidates should have sales training and/or applied sales experience.Candidates should have GPA of 3.0 or higherCandidates should have additional language fluency highly desirableUnder New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$39,600.00-$105,500.00
