The Opportunity
In this role you will be joining Oceanside’s Strategy Office. The Strategy Office is a small but mighty team at OCN that consists of the site’s Chief of Staff and Strategy, Communications Lead, Organizational Change Management Lead, and Program Manager of Strategy and Operations. Within this team, we enable key Network and Site initiatives as well as drive and direct strategic goals, provide key operational support, and organize internal and external activities such as Town Halls, Global Leadership visits, Conferences, etc. In this internship you will be working directly with the Program Manager of Strategy and Operations to support key initiatives and projects. Some key strategy projects include transformative digital projects that cross multiple functions and manufacturing areas.
This internship position is located in OCEANSIDE, on-site.
This internship will be primarily focused on supporting key digital initiatives (Digital Performance Boards and Digital Low Code Platforms), focused on following a templated approach for:
Gathering user requirements
Validation effort support
Hypercare of the tools
As such, we are looking for someone with an aptitude to learn and help translate user needs into new digital tools and technologies as well as have a desire to learn key industry and GMP requirements related to validation and change control. This is an exciting time for the company to endeavor on advancing digital transformation at the site and by joining the team you would be at the forefront of innovation and transformation to enable and operationalize key digital projects and initiatives.
Program Highlights
Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
Program start dates are in May/June (Summer)
A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

Must be pursuing an Associate Degree
Must have attained an Associate's Degree
Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree
Must have attained a Bachelor's Degree

Required Skills:
Aptitude for learning new technologies
Willingness to be a “translator”
Ability to help others understand more complex systems in simplified terms
Ability to take specific user requirements and “translate” them into specific digital tool or system requirements (an example might be like translating a written recipe into a video script for a youtube video recipe)
Desire to learn about various Manufacturing processes across different domains
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

The expected hourly rate range for this position based on the primary location for this position of Oceanside is $22- $28. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
