Job Title: Graduate Social Value Assistant - Monklands Project
We're looking for bright and committed graduates who will bring energy, new ideas and a fresh perspective to help us become the recognised leader and transform the construction and engineering industry.
Role Overview
As part of the Sustainability function, you will be working closely alongside and shadowing a more experienced Social Value Advisor, supporting with social value delivery, data collection, reporting, and social value evaluation.
Whilst under supervision, the role will include working within project teams, engaging, and communicating across functions to ensure that the Laing O'Rourke Social Value strategy is embedded across all our projects.
Key Deliverables and Accountabilities
Delivery of social value objectives, including work experience placements and education/ community activities Identify suitable partners to be able to deliver the above objectives Report to line manager on the delivery of outputs you are responsible for, raising to manager any risks, issues in delivery Support the development of a delivery plan for social value commitments on each project Contribute to team meetings, offering solutions and sharing best practice Collaborate with key external partners to ensure we meet all our social value objectives Collaborate with other functions within Laing O'Rourke to deliver social value activitiesLocation

We are looking for graduates who meet the following criteria:
Eligible to work in the UK with a valid work permit if applicable Full mobility as you may be required to relocate for your role Strong numeracy and literacy skills A degree course with a clear route to professional accreditation Your degree classification should be 2:2 or higher
