What we’re looking for:
AIG seeks candidates who have excelled in previous work experience, demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, possess strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills, and are enthusiastic about and committed to the insurance industry.
We also look for a diverse background of experience, culture and thought. Successful candidates typically have a global perspective and a team-oriented track record.
What you need to know:
+ Issue policies, endorsements, binders, certificates and any other policy document in AIG and third party booking systems as required.
+ Supports underwriters on the Follow up of quotes and/or subjectivity in order to complete sales process and booking process.
+ Responsible for completing the underwriting cycle of all bound accounts in AIG and third party systems as required, including but not limited to binding accounts, facultative reinsurance platform binding process, catastrophe exposure system, rating system, among others.
+ Responsible providing support to Underwriters regarding the proper filing of bound accounts in One View or any other platform AIG uses for such purpose. (according to current file audit requirements).
+ Provide a high level of customer service by timely response to broker requests and deadlines.
+ Assist in the day-to-day operations to underwriters as required.
Requirements:
+ Minimum Bachelor's degree completed, preferable in Accounting, Finance or a related field of study.
+ This position suits recent graduates and/or candidates with some exposure to underwriting concepts and experience in the Insurance Industry.
+ Fluent and excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Spanish).
+ Analytical skills, organized, proactive and detail oriented is a must.
+ Interpersonal and teamwork skills.
+ Proficient in the use of MS Office suite products specially Excel (a must) and Word.
Program Start Date
The Early Careers Analyst program will start in July 2025.
