2025-2026 Breast Imaging Fellowship
The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging, Breast Imaging Division at the University of Virginia, seeks candidates to fill multiple Clinical Instructor positions to begin July 1, 2025. The University of Virginia Breast Imaging Division is participating in the National Residency Match Program (NRMP) Fellowship Match process, sponsored by the Society of Breast Imaging. Qualified candidates will be members of the NRMP, http://www.nrmp.org/ . This one-year post-graduate fellowship program focuses on all aspects of breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammography (including tomosynthesis), contrast-enhanced mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. Image guided breast procedures that are performed include stereotactic, tomosynthesis guided, ultrasound guided, and MRI guided core biopsies and wire/radioseed localizations. This is a restricted position; continuation is dependent on funding and satisfactory performance. Candidates must have an MD or equivalent and have successfully completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at an ACGME accredited institution or successfully completed a diagnostic radiology residency accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC). As per the Society of Chairs of Academic Radiology Departments (SCARD), we cannot accept applications or offer an opportunity to interview with our program until **November 1, 2023** .
