Special Education Extended School Year Summer Program Details: + The program will be hosted at Eggert Elementary School; + July 7-August 15, 2025. Monday thru Friday + Student day is from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM; + Teacher and staff day is 7:45 AM - 2:15 PM + There are 30 school days for students in ESY + Students are eligible for ESY as determined by the Committee for Special Education (CSE) + ESY programming focuses on maintenance of skills as they pertain to IEP goals An introductory/Welcome meeting for staff is tentatively scheduled for June 3, 2025; 3:30-4:30 pm. Staff can attend virtually if needed. Set-up day is tentatively planned for Tuesday, July 1st and/or Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Positions: + Up to twenty (20) Extended School Year teacher aides (classroom and 1:1) (30 student days) to support students within the classroom, at lunch, recess, and to support daily arrival and dismissal; + Additional substitute teacher aides are also needed to fill in as needed.
