Job Title: Shipping Helper/Forklift
1st Shift
7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Pay Rate: $13.50
Work Location: Union City
Job Type: Full-time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for assisting in the shipping department and using the forklift as needed.

Ability to read programs in order to program the saw to cut the wood to the length required to build pallets. Moving product with pallet jack and or forklift. Operating Pneumatic Tools such as drills, powered screw drivers and the saw. Clean work area to Company standards.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Excellent verbal skills – This employee will be required to communicate with other employees within the company. Teamwork – Each employee in this area is required to work with other team members when job requires additional help. High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly. Must be able to bend and stoop during shift.
