1st Shift Product Line Coordinator - LVA
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a 1st Shift Product Line Coordinator - LVA. Shift Hours: 6am - 3pm Monday - Friday The hourly rate for this position is $27 - $30 per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **What you’ll do:** The Product Line Coordinator provides manufacturing expertise, support, and direction in their assigned line. The PLC assists the VSM in the coordination, facilitation, and motivation of the activities of all assigned employees to meet or exceed established High-5 metrics and goals including safety, quality, delivery, cost, lean and efficiency. Lead by example in areas such as safety, ethical standards, attendance, intensity, sense of urgency, team philosophy, initiative, quality assurance, standard work, 5-S, product knowledge, positive attitude, interpersonal communication skills and professional presence. The PLC will have the ability to be flexible in a ever changing environment and provide tactical decision making. **In this function you will:** + Perform direct labor work within your area of responsibility, including flexing into any part of the line, as needed at the capacity of Tech III. + Maintain Tier 2 board and communicate daily production goals and expectations, updating schedules and necessary metrics. + Perform production planning for product line (Gantt charts), including directing daily work activity for Mfg Tech I, II, III + Coordinate resources to meet production requirements, including managing product Line supplies and parts, such as tools, equipment needs, and Kanban. + Work with engineering and management to resolve technical issues and review released shop drawings. + Work with Production Supervisor and team to create, verify, and audit work instructions. + Train, mentor, instruct, and provide guidance to employees; promote cross-training + Provides input on team’s performance + Ability to promote and maintain morale, cooperation, and productivity among peers in the work group + Support employee led Kaizen Events and Rapid Improvement Events + Assist in the development and implementation of standards and metrics for line **Qualifications:** **Required Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution + Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment OR + Two (2) years’ experience at PPC with at least 1 years’ experience in corresponding product line (preferred qualification to have worked as a Tech III in the line) + One (1) years' experience in leading a team + Experience using Microsoft Excel + Must reside within a 50 mile radius of Wilsonville, OR. Active Duty military are exempt from the geographical requirement **Position Criteria:** • Ability to be certified to operate overhead cranes and forklifts and to perform Lock out/Tag out (LOTO) procedures • Position requires exercising initiative to address and resolve problems with minimal supervision. • Employee expected to develop team and positively influence team morale and culture. • Must be able to communicate clearly and give direction to team. • Must understand Gantt Charts and Production Scheduling processes. • Working knowledge of wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, schematics, bills of material, change notices, • Understand KANBAN and inventory allocation systems. • Familiarity with quality control systems and reports. \#LI-CD1 \#IND123 We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
