PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Distributes appropriate materials to work areas as requiredTimely distribution of production materials with ‘production first’ mentalitySafely operates forklift if required by work assignmentProperly maintains inspection log of forklift if requiredAssembles finished product bundles and secure per work instructionsTracks inventory levels and communicates needs proactively

Adheres to PPE and safety requirements of the production facilityMaintains consistent housekeeping of work areaIs on time with consistent attendance and operates through shift endManages own time clock effectivelyIs a team player and takes direction from production managerIs willing to do what it takes to get the job done safely and efficientlyProactive problem solverFollows instructions, willingness to learn and train when requiredConsistently achieves high quality and volume targets of work area

SCOPE

All tools and equipment to be used in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendationsAbides by safe lifting proceduresReads and interprets material informationEnsures quality parts and materials are distributed to productionEnsures finished product quality meets expectationsEnsures finished product bundles include all products specified and are of adequate quality for distributionSupports all additional tasks directed by the production manager

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Professional behavior in the workplace with good communication skillsWillingness to pursue training for trade knowledge advancementForklift certification or experience if required for work assignment

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

2 years of material handling or similar experienceAbility to read, count and writeAbility to lift and push 50 lbs >25% of production shiftMust be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background checkMust be able to prove eligibility to work in the United States40+ hours weekly including up to 2 Saturdays a month as scheduled
