Your Opportunity:

Taylor DM Brands, formerly known as Amsterdam Printing, is looking for a General Maintenance Worker to join the team at our Amsterdam, NY, facility!

Your Responsibilities:

Performs basic maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall repair and machine preventative maintenance.

Able to drive a small bucket loader and handle basic facility grounds work .

Will be able handling production floor recycling and compacting duties.

Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.

Works under immediate supervision, typically reporting to a supervisor or manager.

Your Shift: 1st Shift; 6am - 2pm, Monday - Friday with overtime as required.

You Must Have:

1 years' experience in a trade field or in a related maintenance like position.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Ability to effectively communicate with team members

Must be a self-starter with the ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Requirements within this position:

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.

Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.

Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.

Frequently required to move inside the facility.

Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).

We Would Also Prefer:

High School Diploma/equivalent

The anticipated hourly pay rate for this position is $18.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay rate offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
