Volt is immediately hiring for Electrical Assemblers in Sorrento Valley Ca.

\r\n\r\n

As a Electrical Assemblers you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tExecutes product setup, programming, calibration, and testing.\r\n\tAdheres to test protocols for assembly evaluation during both pre and post-burn-in stages.\r\n\tEnsures routine testing is performed to meet quality control standards.\r\n\tPerforms standardized tests on electronic components and units in a consistent manner.\r\n\tRecords and maintains test outcome documentation.\r\n\tCapable of conducting basic troubleshooting at the assembly level.\r\n\tKeeps the workspace and tools neat and compliant with safety norms.\r\n\tProficient in executing basic arithmetic operations and numerical counting.\r\n\tUtilizes a digital multi-meter for fundamental measurements.\r\n\tSkilled in Thru-Hole soldering techniques.\r\n\tOperates with a degree of autonomy, requiring only moderate oversight.\r\n\tProactively detects and reports any discrepancies in product assembly or instructions.\r\n\tExhibits superior proficiency and precision in the assembly process.\r\n\tMeasures using a digital multi-meter with basic proficiency\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full-time Direct Hire opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh school education; at least six months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience\r\n\tMust have current or past IPC-J-Std, Class 3 soldering Certification\r\n\tIPC-610 certification a plus\r\n\tExperience assembling products in more than one functional area of the PCA production floor\r\n\tMust have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal \r\n\tTypically, physical effort includes frequent lifting or moving of moderately weighted materials \r\n\tThe use of fine motor skills in the hands to assemble/solder products/components and use hand tools\r\n\r\n\r\n

Schedule:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tMonday to Thursday 6am-2:30pm\r\n\tFriday 5am-1pm\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay rate: $20-25 per hour

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
