As a Business Management Vice President within the Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries 100+ Business Management team, you will be tasked with the development, organization, and execution of strategic and tactical initiatives to expand and manage the business. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams within Commercial Banking and across Global Banking to promote key initiatives and continuous process improvement. Additionally, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the head of 100+, conducting data-promoten analyses of key issues impacting the business to determine the impact and propose solutions.
Job responsibilities
Lead ad-hoc analyses to better understand and solution key business challenges and opportunities Own materials and preparation for key business reviews with CB ExCo members – tell the 100+ storyLead ad-hoc growth strategy projects to help drive the 100+ businessIdentify connections between 100+ business opportunities / challenges and underlying data (e.g., sales metrics, banker activities, campaigns, initiatives) to lead business analytics projectsIngest a business problemUse quantitative and qualitative information to build a data setSynthesize the dataCommunicate concise findings and recommendation(s) to business co-headsRequired qualifications, capabilities & skills
6+ years of relevant work experienceHaving a growth mindsetExpertise in MS Excel and PowerPointMature, highly organized, self-motivated and a team player who seeks to break the status-quo and initiate improvementsStrong problem solving and analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, gather and manipulate data, obtain consensus and implement change. Able to outline work process in a thoughtful and detailed manner. Intellectually curious with a genuine interest in knowledge gathering and problem solving.Possess strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to synthesize “the story” for executive-level audiences and adjust messages and style based on different audiences and agendasAble to produce accurate, error-free analyses. Understand business drivers and ensure that the team’s analyses are sound. Capable of synthesizing large amounts of data in Excel and from internal systems to develop strategic conclusions to share with senior leadership.Strong professional presence with the ability to communicate directly with Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries leadership, executives, and bankers. Must be able to lead a small team and influence colleagues at all levels in the business. Able to collaborate with peer team members across business and staff areas to achieve goals without direct control over all resources.
