Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – 1:1 Support for Special Education Students

Location: Inland Empire, CA

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Minimum of 6 hours/day

Pay Rate: $32-$35 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide 1:1 support for special education students in the Inland Empire. This role involves working closely with students who require specialized medical care, including:

G-tube feedings Diabetic support Seizure monitoring Catheterizations

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to special education students in a school setting. Administer G-tube feedings and monitor students’ nutritional needs. Manage diabetic care, including blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration. Monitor and respond to seizure activity, ensuring student safety. Perform catheterizations and maintain proper hygiene and care. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each student. Assist with bus transportation as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid LVN license in the state of California. Experience working with special education students is preferred. Strong clinical skills in G-tube feedings, diabetic care, seizure management, and catheterizations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
