Job DescriptionEarly involvement of the internal customers to get and manage responsible demand (logistics and packaging);Market research, tenders, negotiations and contracts for the respective category;Conducting RFx for responsible projects according purchasing processes;Support to prepare and implement material field strategy in region;Mentorship for assigned suppliers incl. supplier release, supplier evaluation, supplier eliminating (operational supplier management);Concluding and managing contracts for assigned suppliers;First contact window for internal customer, support to solve escalation cases acc. to communication plan;Purchasing data entry, maintenance and analysis upon request;Coordination of international purchasing activities and special projects

QualificationsPractical purchasing know-how, including quality management basicsNegotiation skills (also in difficult situations) incl. advanced negotiations methodsExperience with purchasing methods and IT tools for Purchasing, prefer i-Source;Data/Cost analysis Skill;Contract law and legal requirementsProject management and moderation skillsFluent in English, level to perform negotiationsGood practical experience in MS Office and SAPWillingness to travelAssertivenessHigh communication skill and ability to work in interdisciplinary teamsIntercultural competence
