The Chef de Cuisine is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef to ensure the smooth running of the Western Kitchen; whilst ensuring the culinary activities are aligned with the respective Corporate Strategies.The Chef de Cuisine assists to devise special dishes and develop innovative recipes where applicable; also establishes and enforces sanitation standards for the assigned Kitchen.The Chef de Cuisine is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef to ensure the smooth running of the Western Kitchen; whilst ensuring the culinary activities are aligned with the respective Corporate Strategies.The Chef de Cuisine assists to devise special dishes and develop innovative recipes where applicable; also establishes and enforces sanitation standards for the assigned Kitchen.Minimum of 1-2 years’ work experience as Chef de Cuisine, preferably with experience in luxury international branded hotels Experienced in large scale event operations will be an advantageCreative and knowledgeable of current culinary trendsComprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards are essential.Diversity in culture with international working experience background is preferredGood communications and interpersonal skillsGood command of English required and Chinese an advantagePossessing computer proficiencyCapable to manage Culinary teams and management functions
