【TW Life】Assistant Manager, Strategic Planning

Responsibilities:

 • Support Head of Strategic Planning to ensure the enterprise project governance aligning Chubb Life Global standards that may need to integrate with IT and Finance governance. 

• Capture the market pulse and the emerging market needs to help business functions identify improvement and enhancement areas that will enable business growth via strategic and analytics mindset. 

• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels to facilitate selected cross-functional deep-dives and the special projects on business gaps / cases issued by senior leadership team to form the strategic initiatives. 

• Drive business critical initiatives via contextualizing the objectives / the key problems, particularly those that span multiple domains. 

• Turn strategic initiatives into actions and develop project plans with solid project and change management methodology and skills. 

• Manage projects ranging from market insights to digital / non digital projects and ensure the deliverables meet quality standards and expected benefits. 

• Act as project lead and be a sounding board to working-level project teams and/or stakeholders with objectives to resolve inefficiencies and roadblocks with fact-based decision making and execution with agility, and to keep the projects against its strategic goals. 

• Foster a positive project team environment and promote collaboration and communication among team members. 

• Serve as trustworthy partner to Head of Strategic Planning to support the corporate planning presentations when needed, with the sense of maintaining confidentiality and discretion for the sake of the senior leadership team and /or the company.

• 7+ years of experience in program/project management delivery or project management office PMO) preferably in consulting, in the context of implementation/transformation/change management 

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in Mandarin and in English. 

• Strong pragmatic problem solving skills with proven experience in applying well-developed problem solving skills (quantitative, conceptual, analytical) 

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels, experience with senior leadership team is a plus. 

• Act as a fast learner to access business needs that span multi-domains with ability to apply strategic problem solving. 

• Highly organized, versatile and dedicated to efficient productivity and attention to details. 

• Enjoy flexibility and agility that is required in a fast-paced environment with ability to meet tight deadlines and handles simultaneous workstreams. 

• Experience working in multi-national company or matrix organization, financial service industry preferred, and strategy / transformation / tech consulting is a plus. 

• Business management, project management or innovation background 

• Strong ownership and passion to being catalyst of driving change
