As a Scrum Master in data engineering, you'll facilitate the Agile process for data teams, ensuring they follow Scrum principles and deliver valuable products by coaching, removing impediments, and fostering collaboration. You must have 10+ experience in managing scrum programs out of which 6 plus years of experience in managing scrums for data engineering domain is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

-Facilitating Scrum Events:

You'll lead and facilitate Scrum events like Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. 
-Coaching and Mentoring:
Guide the team on Agile practices and principles, helping them become self-organized and high-performing. 
-Removing Impediments:
Identify and address obstacles that hinder the team's progress, ensuring they can focus on delivering value. 
-Promoting Collaboration:
Foster a collaborative and transparent environment where team members can communicate effectively and work together seamlessly. 
-Ensuring Adherence to Scrum:
Make sure the team follows the Scrum framework and its values, promoting consistent and effective Agile practices. 
-Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor team performance metrics and progress, providing insights to stakeholders and identifying areas for improvement. 
-Working with Stakeholders:
Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and other teams to ensure alignment and deliver value. 
-Continuous Improvement:
Encourage the team to reflect on their processes and identify opportunities for improvement, promoting a culture of learning and adaptation. 
-Data Analytics Specifics:
Understanding the unique challenges and opportunities of data analytics projects within an Agile context. 
Facilitating the exploration of data and the development of insights through Agile sprints. 
Ensuring that each sprint delivers a potentially shippable product increment, even if it's a preliminary analysis, dashboard, or model. 
Working with data scientists, data engineers, and data analysts to ensure the team is aligned and delivering value. 
-Understanding Data Driven Scrum (DDS):
Be familiar with Data Driven Scrum (DDS), an Agile framework specifically designed for data engineering teams.

Strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile principles .
